Persian Pants/Middle Eastern Pants
Loose-fitting pants gathered at the ankles. The Persian pants are made from a light weight muslin or light weight polycotton.
(For heavier fabric, see our Drawstring Pants.) They are particularly popular among belly dancers and gypsies of both sexes.
Appropriate for Persian or people of Middle Eastern
personas. Also worn by clowns and jesters. Also called poofy pants or harem pants.
Worn in the SCA, LARP, or for other medieval costumes. Very comfortable--a baggy fit with a sleek look.
Great for ladies to wear under long garb.
Drawstring or elastic at the waist.
Persian Pants come standard with elastic at the pant cuffs. For drawstring instead, be sure to select that option in the drop-down menu below. (We can also just hem them if you want, mention it in the comments).
Length measurement is from your waist to how poofy you want the bottom to be.
Crotch seams are double sewn.
Please specify color preferences, choice of elastic or drawstring, waist size, and desired length when ordering.
Choose two colors if you want different color legs. If you only choose one color both legs will be the same.
