Hooded Scapular. Scapulars are worn draped over robes or monk's robes or dresses.
For the clergy, scapulars were (and are) used to signify the different liturgical seasons: green for "Ordinary time," white for High Holy Days, etc. That way, a priest or monk merely had to change the scapular and not the entire robe. A different color of scapular changes the entire appearance of a standard robe.
Made from thick material (10-14 ounce), cotton or cotton blend, twill or denim.
We offer a variety of colors. Please inquire about other colors.
Trim can be added around the edges or on the hood.
Perfect for modern or medieval monk clothing, a great religious outfit.
We offer 5 styles of hoods; Regular, Pointed, Small Lirepipe (add $5), Long Lirepipe (add $10), and X-large Goth (add $5).
