Wide breeches were worn during many historical times from early 16th century through the end of the 17th century. Perfect for Pirate pants, Renaissance Faire pants, Elizabethan pants, Tudor pants, and hobbits. Wide breeches look great when worn with our Mongolian Coat. Pants have a drawstring waist. Drawstring is standard for the bottom hems. Elastic can be substituted for the drawstring. Crotch seams are double sewn. Elastic can be added to waist for perfect Pirate pants. Made from medium weight cotton or cotton blend fabric, they can also be made from velvet for a fancier, "Dandy" look.
We can also add (non-period) side-seam pockets - 1 deep pockets on either hip that can be hidden if worn with a tunic. These pockets can fit large hands and are deep enough to carry wallets, cell phones, keys, etc. These are Medieval pants, costume pants, pirate pants, faire pants.
