Female Greek Doric Chiton This simple garment was worn both in ancient Greece as well as Rome.
This dress is thought to be a variation of the peplos and is found on many vase paintings and pieces of sculpture
up to the end of the first century A.D.
This dress is pinned at the top (pins NOT included), and can be pulled up to be worn as a shorter skirt.
Made from natural cotton muslin, cotton gauze or polycotton fabric.
We also offer several lengths of the fold; the measurement from your shoulder to the hem of the top layer of the garment. (12 inch flap shown on lavender chiton) Use a string
and measure the string if you don't have a tape measure.
You can also add trim to the top and/or bottom in as many rows as you would like.
