Gothic Chasuble
  • The Chasuble is a very old garment, and orginally thought to have been worn as religous garb as early as 316. The Gothic Chasuble was thought to orginate in the sixth century in the eastern church, and the 11th in the west.
  • White chasubles were typicaly worn for Easter or Christmas, while red were worn by the apsotles and marters. Black chasubles were worn for Advent and Lent and days of afflection and departed.
  • Our Gothic Chasuble is calf length and circular with a scoop neck.
