The Chasuble is a very old garment, orginally thought to have been worn as religous garb as early as 316. The Chasuble was thought to orginate in the 6th century in the eastern church, and the 11th in the west.
  • White Chasubles were typicaly worn for Easter or Christmas, while red Chasubles were worn by the apsotles and marters. Black Chasubles were worn for Advent and Lent and days of affliction and departed.
  • Our Chasuble is made of medium weight cotton or cotton blend fabric. It is short and pointed in front and full length and wide in the back. It has a scoop neck..
