Our period shoes and boots are handmade by Westland Crafts.
The shoes sizes are based on US shoe sizes, but the sizes vary somewhat by shoe style,
so we've included a table of the shoe measurements below.
Westland Crafts doesn't make wide sizes, just a standard width. And the Woman's shoes tend
to be a bit narrower than the Men's shoes. Generally, Men's shoe size numbers are two sizes
larger than the same Woman's shoe size number: Men's 9 is equal to Woman's 7.
The measurements are of the longest and widest points of each shoe sole.
“ - ” = measurements not available.
Measure your foot by standing on a ruler or tape measure and wearing any socks you might want
to wear with the shoes. Remember that leather shoes will stretch a bit with wear.
